Hello All You Wonderful PlayMania Readers!

I've understood theres been quite a lot of confusion out here these last couple of days.

I feel like I want to say a few words and try to clear things up regarding the reason why I choose not to continue working with the group this year. Play was an amazing journey and I have the best memories from our Play times.

I've been through so much with these girls right by my side and they will always mean alot to me.

These last couple of years I've written a lot of songs on my own.

These songs are telling the stories about all that has been and about my hopes and my dreams for the future.

My main aim and dream today is to let these songs see the light of day and get them released and with a little luck they soon will.

I don't wanna be a modest person so this is what I need to do.

I need to at least try to walk that line and this is what I would have told you to do, if you would have asked me.

I'm so proud of the fact that I've been a part of Play and I'm proud of having people like you supporting us.

Let's all continue to support Fanny, Janet, Anna, Sanne and Anais in their future projects and wish them the very best of luck.

Cause I know that I will!

Anais Speaks Out on Play's Behalf

I have heard from Laila and Anais about everything that has been going on. Anais sent me this letter that she wrote with Faye in response to everything that has been said. Please read this carefully.

We would like to apologize for the late reply. Faye’s grandfather passed away two days ago so this has been a really tough time for her.

First of all I would like to say how wonderful it feels being able to find so many of you still here at Play-mania.com. You are all so dedicated and caring – I am truly touched to find that your love and devotion to this group still lives on after so many years of silence. It is regretful having to start off our reunion with such confusion and ambivalence regarding the members in this group after having spent so much time away from the music scene and all of you fans. Especially when we are so happy and excited to do all of this again.

It’s hard having to break this long silence and to face all of these emotions. Please hear us when we say that it was NEVER our intention that anyone would get hurt or feel betrayed. We have always been loyal to all of you fans and it absolutely breaks our hearts to hear you so upset.

Three years ago we decided to give PLAY another go – the four of us original members. Mathew Knowles flew us to London to make sure we were ready, totally devoted and mature to start again. Anna did not join us due to other projects in the US. At that point me, Faye and Rosie decided that it was best for the group to let Anna focus on her own career. All three of us agreed that the group needs to comes first, prior to all other projects. Each of us needs to gives this a 100% and more. We can not let this group come in second place. We do not blame her and understand that she has to take care of the career she has built but we feel that now that we are going to restart this group we need to make it our first and only priority. With Anna having worked hard on her own career for 5-6 years in the US and the three of us (Me, Faye & Rosie) getting an offer based in Sweden we felt this was the only way to go. Faye did call Anna to talk everything through and let her know how we felt. We truly wish Anna all the best with her career.

And please all of you – don’t judge Sanne – She is the sweetest girl, amazingly talented and has absolutely nothing to do with all of this. I think everyone deserves a chance.

Rosie will leave her own statement but all I can say for now is that she decided a couple of weeks ago to go solo and focus on her own career. No hard feelings – we support her to a 100%!

I wanna thank you for being so loyal to each individual in this group and I want to remind you all that Play – from beginning to end – is nothing without you. Thank you so much.

PLAY is back.. with a few changes! Please read on for more information!

Early next year, Andreas Carlsson, Laila Bagge, Anders Bagge back in the TV box with Made in Sweden. Finally, we follow Janet and Kim who both became superstars in Sweden. This time we get to know the girl group Play. The girls Fanny, Anais and Sanne to the four weeks to record a new album and then become superstars in both Sweden and the United States.

PLAY IS GONNA BE IN THE NEXT "MADE IN SWEDEN". They said it on the radio yesterday! They are gonna give Play a "second chance". Janet's not in the group. It's Anais and Fanny, and they have a new member called Sanne! Rosanna dropped out two weeks ago. Anais said that she and Fanny haven't sung in six years.

And what I am thinking can be greatly summed up by Brittany's comment in the previous blog entry!

I think they sound great together! Sanne's voice blends in really well with Fanny and Anais's. At least we get to hear more music from them!....I know the new Play may be hard to get used to, but we have to give them a chance and we need to support them like we have supported the other girls and Welcome Sanne like we welcomed Janet when she was the new member....like I said, I think they sound great together! I'm really excited about this!

I received this great e-mail today:

A little late but I thought it would be interesting news. I was stationed at FOB Diamondback in Iraq. One night I was at the gym and I heard Play's Us Against the World. I'm not sure if it was on one of their two radio stations or if it was a mix the KBR workers made but I thought it was pretty cool.

PLAY Reunion Rumors

IMPORTANT: I know there are rumors going around that Play will be getting back together, started on Wikipedia and spread to other parts of the net. I have been receiving comments and e-mails about it too and I am trying to get more information about this but Laila is on vacation, so we may have to wait a little longer to see what is going on!

Hey Lisa! I really miss your gallery of Play pictures and I know you have so many. I've been searching the net and I barely ever find any! Would you consider putting up a gallery of all their pics?

As per request, I have created a Photobucket to store old images of Play (official, in concert, television appearance caps, etc.) in. I know there aren't really any sites up anymore where we can find these things, so I'm going through my files and uploading some stuff I still have saved.
