Tomtar & Troll

Anders Bagge co-wrote music for the animated film Tomtar and Troll. The film is already a hit in Turkey and Kuwait, and on March 27th it will premiere in Sweden. Janet sings the theme song for the movie called "On Top of the World."

Robpop from DontStopThePop not only has a review up from Rosanna's show last night, he also did a wonderful interview with her! She speaks a lot about Play among many other topics regarding her music. It's a great and lengthy interview, so make sure to check it out!

Rosanna performed in London last night as part of Gold Dust at Hoxton Square. With no sign of nerves, she belted out a succession of songs that went down rather well. London audiences can be tough but by the time she was into the amazing songs Gameboy and Runaway, heads started nodding and a few arms were flapping in the wind. Especially at the back. With all eyes on Rosanna, she rocked the place like a queen conquering a rival state. A great live debut. A few hours beforehand, I met up with her to chat about everything from the the current album, the importance of the moon to her songwriting and of course Play. As you'll see, Rosanna absolutely celebrates pop. It is an integral part of work and creativity. Which of course is absolutely fabulous. Whatismore, it is fascinating to understand the journey of Rosanna as she emerges as a singer intent on producing kind of super pop that is all hers and indeed growing up to be an artist. And, a bloody good one at that! I suppose what I'm getting at its great to see Rosanna as an artist extremely proud of her pop routes and construct pop songs as a solo artist that are so good it hurts.

Don't Stop the Pop

Robpop from DontStopThePop is going to see Rosanna tonight! I'm not sure of the time difference in London, so it's possible the show has gone on already. Hopefully he will write a review about it. It'll be great to hear from someone who has been able to go and see one of the girls live post-Play!

Rosie will be live tonight. I will be there. The rather good pop songstress has just uploaded a batch of new songs on her myspace (Runaway is beyond good while Attack is very tasty). It all happens at 9 pm at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on Hoxton Square. Tonight. Yes, tonight! I can't wait...

Rosanna: New Songs, New URL, & In London!
